Do I have to make my own hotel reservation?
We can also provide you with hotel accommodation ranging from four to five star.
Are there discounts on multiple registrations?
Yes, for groups of 10 or more from one company, contact us for details.
Are there options for strict dietary requirements?
The majority of our conferences include buffet style meals, with a variety of foods however if we are informed before we will be able to cater for.
Who will be my contact at the venue?
Once on site, you will be meeting our Events Coordinator who will guide you through in organizing the event onsite. The Events Coordinator will be the contact person who will assist you through out the Conference or Seminar.
What documentation is required for your wedding in Malta?
Documentation – please check with us for full details, however, you usually need the following:
- Birth Certificate
- Divorce Decree Absolute (if applicable)
- Single Status Affidavit (if applicable)
- Change of Name Deed (if applicable)
- Death Certificate and Marriage Certificate of Deceased Spouse (if applicable)
- Age limit without parents consent in most destinations is 18years
If I have been previously married can I travel using my maiden name?
You can use your maiden name if you have the relevant paperwork to confirm that you have officially reverted to your maiden name. You will need a ‘Change of Name by Deed Poll’ document from your solicitor. If you do not have the correct documentation, travelling under your maiden name will not be allowed and your previous marital name will have to be used.
How long does the civil ceremony last?
The ceremony usually lasts 15-20 minutes with the exchange of vows and you may wish to exchange rings. If you wanted to introduce other aspects to the ceremony, such as, a non-religious poetry reading or a special piece of music you would have to discuss this with the registrar.
When is the cheapest time of year to get married?
Between November to February, as it is renowned for being colder and more likely to rain.
When is the most popular time of year to get married?
July and August are the most popular months to get married.
Do I need to hire a wedding planner?
Wedding Planners are not required. However, keep in mind that a good wedding planner can save you money. We do require that you provide an event day contact that is not part of the wedding party or immediate family. It is strongly suggested that you hire an experienced person to handle this aspect of your wedding. They can oversee your vendors, make sure your event stays on schedule and help prevent costly damages to the venue. And the best thing is that you are at the right place as we can offer you all this service through our experienced events organisers.
From what time is overtime applicable?
Usually overtime charges are applicable for events which run after 18.00hrs during morning weddings and after 01.00hrs for evening weddings. Any additional hour or part thereof, is subject to a charge.
